Jocelyn DeBoer and Dawn Luebbe are an award-winning writing and directing team based in Los Angeles. They met performing on a house team together at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York. They became creative partners in the summer of 2015 and founded Gulp Splash Productions. Jocelyn and Dawn recently sold a pilot to IFC and are in development on a feature they plan to direct in 2018. They have recently directed content for Big Breakfast and Cracked. They have written and produced three short films which have appeared in over 50 film festivals worldwide. They won “Best Direction” for their short, "The Arrival" at Funcinema Crítica de Cine in Argentina. "The Arrival" also won "Best Comedy" at the Waydown Festival in Georgia and “The Audience Award” at Chicago Critics Film Festival. At SXSW 2016, Jocelyn and Dawn received the “Special Jury Recognition for Writing” for their first short film, “Greener Grass”. Following its premiere at the Clermont-Ferrand Film Festival in France, “Greener Grass” got a distribution deal with Canal + in Europe and Africa.
